SongBook+ is subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which can be found here:
http://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/appstore/dev/stdeula
SongBook+ does not include data such as lyrics, sheet music, audio files, video files, or MIDI files when downloaded from the App Store. Any data to be displayed or played with SongBook+ must be added by the user.
Users must respect copyright and may not include any data in SongBook+ that they do not legally own.
By downloading and using SongBook+, you agree to these terms.
In-app purchase "full version"
The basic version of SongBook+ is fully functional, but has a limitation of 15 songs in a single book.
Users who do not need more than 15 songs or more than one book can use SongBook+ for free.
Users who wish to use more than 15 songs or more than one book can remove this limitation by unlocking the full version with the corresponding in-app purchase.
The user can choose between a one-time payment for the full version or a monthly or annual subscription to the full version.
Activation of the full version with a one-time payment
The one-time payment entitles you to unlimited use of the full version.
Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
After 5 years, the user may no longer install updates, as otherwise the full version will expire during the update. SongBook+ reminds users to deactivate automatic app updates in advance. This allows the user to continue using the full version even after 5 years without additional payment.
Unlock full version with subscription
Payment with subscription entitles you to use the full version until the subscription is canceled and the already paid period has expired.
Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed by the user, and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.
In-app purchases “Gold Sponsor”, “Silver Sponsor” and “Bronze Sponsor”
After activating the full version with a one-time payment, the user can optionally become a SongBook+ sponsor with a subscription.
SongBook+ sponsorship allows highly satisfied users to regularly donate to the future development and support of SongBook+. There are three different levels of sponsorship called "Gold Sponsor," "Silver Sponsor," or "Bronze Sponsor." To become a SongBook+ sponsor, users can choose between a monthly or annual subscription. Payment will be charged to their iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Subscriptions can be managed by the user, and auto-renewal can be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.
Data collected
If you do not want SongBook+ to collect the data described below, you can disable it in SongBook+'s settings in the "Other" section by turning off the options "Send crash reports to developers" and/or "Send usage data to developers".
Crash logs
If SongBook+ detects that it crashed in the last session, a crash log is uploaded to a server at firebase.google.com. Crash logs contain information about the application's usage prior to the crash and are used by the developer to find and fix issues causing the application to crash and improve the application's stability. The crash log does not contain any information that could be used to identify the user.
Using the app
SongBook+ sends events about SongBook+ usage to a server at "firebase.google.com." These events can be sent, for example, when the app is launched, when a song is opened, when a song starts playing, when a song is selected via incoming MIDI events, when outgoing MIDI events are sent to control a connected keyboard, when another SongBook+ is connected, etc. These events are only used to know which app features are frequently used and to further improve the app. These events do not contain any information that can be used to identify the user.
Facial recognition
If you enable the "Face Control" feature, SongBook+ uses TrueDepth facial recognition data to remotely control the app using facial expressions.
This data is only used locally, not stored, and not shared with third parties.
